Well Its freezing here this morning :(
Looks like winter is round the corner at last.....I love the cooler weather...we are close to the Bunya Mountains..about half an hour away and so our temperatures are a bit cooler than the rest of Queensland..especially at night...I'm wearing warm jammies already :))))

Anyhooo.....
guess what arrived this week..........

My giveaway prize from the fabulously talented Gail McCormack.....it is just so beautiful...she also sent me one of her cards and the sweetest note. The packaging smelt of roses...truly beautiful....I am in raptures.....here are a few photos but my camera just does not do this work of art justice.....Gail, Thank You sooooo much. I am truly honoured to own an original piece of your work...

Next and just as exciting...my Easter Basket Swap arrived from my swap partner the sweet Valerie.....
Oh My....my basket was filled with coloured straw....there were glitter eggs, bunnies, more eggs, chocolate chiccies that didn't even make it to the photo shoot....they were soooooo yummy...

And wait theres more.....pastel coloured crepe paper, vintage paper embellishments, chocolate drinks ( dh and I enjoyed them very much!).

Oh and four vials of GLITTER!!!!!
Oh Valerie you just made my day. I am keeping them all to use next year........ Oh and gorgeous wired ribbon in rainbow colours and a foil flower and the prettiest bunch of lavender velvet flowers...

there was so much it just kept coming out of the box....Valerie you are the best Angel ever......I'm afraid my parcel paled in comparison to yours.......
And lastly I am sharing my Easter decorations.Took photos but haven't had the time to show up to now. I really had a relaxing time over Easter and just did NOTHING!!!
Glorious NOTHING!!!

Linda this was so much fun swapping these baskets! I finally today got my post up about it.

Your basket was wonderful and beautiful and let me experience a bit of Australia.

I have even taken to carrying the little kangaroo in my purse with me!

Thanks for all the goodies and tasties.

Valerie

Glad you liked your little prize Linda, I enjoyed the giveaway so much, it was great to meet up with you, and what a coincedence about you crossing paths with Tony's relations! Love your Easter swap from Valerie, I've never taken part in a swap before, they sound like fun.

Hi Linda! Thank you for visiting my blog! Well, I really only know how to use www.flickr.com as the image upload to use for the background as they offer several different sizes to copy the url. It's completely free so don't worry about signing up. Make sure your image is light enough for your text to print over though, OK? Email me at sewmanyroses@yahoo.com if you need any more help, I'll be happy to! xxoo, Dawn
